Black Health & Anti-Black Racism in Canadian Healthcare Special Issue
Contexte
Un numéro spécial en deux parties sur la santé des Noir·e·s et le racisme anti-Noir·e·s dans les soins de santé au Canada a été publié dans le Journal de l'Association médicale canadienne (JAMC) en collaboration avec ICFSN. Ces numéros spéciaux ont été proposés par les co-directrices du ICFSN, Dre Onye Nnorom et Dre OmiSoore Dryden, en 2020. En janvier 2021, les docteures Nnorom et Dryden ont rédigé un commentaire sur le racisme anti-Noir·e·s en médecine qui a été publié dans le JAMC.

À propos des numéraux spéciaux
Ce qui devait être à l'origine un numéro spécial unique a été étendu à deux numéros spéciaux en raison du grand nombre et de la qualité des articles soumis. En plus des articles publiés dans les numéros spéciaux, un article a été publié dans CMAJ Open et un autre dans CMAJ Blogs. Les numéros portent sur le racisme anti-Noir·e·s et la santé des Noir·e·s en mettant l'accent sur les expériences des Noir·e·s au Canada.
La première partie du numéro spécial a été publiée le 24 octobre 2022 et la seconde, le 31 octobre 2022.
